looking up partition info
(sudo) fdisk /dev/sdb
opens a prompt:
m: help
p: print partition table
i: print info on a partition
manipulating partition table
(sudo) fdisk /dev/sdb
opens a prompt:
d: delete partition
n: add partition
creating file system (formatting)
First, create partition. That will create device, e.g. /dev/sdb1
Then use mkfs.TYPE, e.g.:
(sudo) mkfs.ext4 /dev/sdb1
